A Personal Statement
Yes, I have to mention it here as well! 'A Personal Statement' is finally out. http://www.freyasbower.com/content/view/179/1/ This is the one which began life as 'The Intern.' I love it.

Wooo! Congrats, hun! :D

Fennie- 02-08-2007

I bought it. (Take note of a rare event: Fennie actually bought an e-novel ... )

Lamia- 02-10-2007

Please note, everyone. Fennie is my reader... I only have one. A rare and wonderful creature who should be cherished and protected at all times... Like her own magnificent urban unicorns....

cupnjava- 02-10-2007

Hey, uhh, Fennie, you thirsty? *opens trench coat and shows a wide variety of coffee blends* *closes coat* *whistles innocently as Lamia walks by*

Lamia- 02-11-2007

No! Paws off. Anyhow, Unicorns don't drink coffee... (And don't even think about tempting her with fine wines....)

No! Paws off. Anyhow, Unicorns don't drink coffee... (And don't even think about tempting her with fine wines....) She's safe. I don't drink wine. There's something about tea and wine that I don't like. *shrug* Can't figure it out.

Lamia- 02-11-2007

Good. Leave my urban unicorn alone. It's the one concept I wish I'd thought of first. Absolutely brilliant. Grrrrrrrrrr, Fennie...

Good. Leave my urban unicorn alone. It's the one concept I wish I'd thought of first. Absolutely brilliant. Grrrrrrrrrr, Fennie... Of course, I can still buy fine wine even if I don't drink it...hmm....

Fennie- 02-14-2007

Did someone say fine wines ... ? (::thinks:: French, white, very dry ... )

cupnjava- 02-14-2007

Did someone say fine wines ... ? (::thinks:: French, white, very dry ... ) *jots down notes* Go on. LOL

Lamia- 02-14-2007

No! I strongly suspect that the one thing that's more frightening than an ordinary urban unicorn is one that's been quaffing fine French wine... (Never used that word before, quaffing....)

kmfrontain- 02-14-2007

Belated congrats on the release, Lamia. :D

Mister Naked- 02-14-2007

quaffing fine French wine... One should start with a dry white wine to cleanse the palate. Then a slighly sweet red followed by a more robust port and finally a plastic gallon bag of that $2 per gallon hooch. Because after three bottles straight up you really don't care anymore about what goes in your mouth. And it's cheap enough to put a couple of pails out for the unicorn.

Couple bottles of Boone's Farm and I'm good to go.
