Also When writing a 100k + word m/f novel is it better to have one viewpoint (heroine), two viewpoints (hero and heroine) or multiple viewpoints (hero, heroine, villain)?

I think that totally depends on the story.

As a person who tends to write short, I use 2 POVs to help lengthen a story. Other than that I guess it is a matter of style.

Yes, depends on your story or your style. I've done an entire third person novel from one POV. It's not bad, but you can't show anything happening behind the scenes.

Hell, I have two 85k novels from 1st POV... and trying to finish the third. It can be done. HARD, but doable.

Yeah, I guess it would depend on the story and the main character(s).
Hi, James! (waving enthusiastically)

Hmmm strange this should pop up, I was going to ask almost the same question! I've only ever written from one POV, even in my one novel. I considered it for my Nano novel, but wondered on the particulars of two POVs.
