This is the other one. I couldn't see the face at first, and asked for it to be changed. Now I can see it and I think it's very clever. It works best as a thumbnail.

Ooooo...very interesting...makes me definitely want to read the book. :D

But can you see the face? In some screen resolutions it simply doesn't show up. WITH the face it's brilliant. Without it, it's a bit confusing.

Oh, yeah...can see it. :D It's kinda like my two from FB: you have to look at it for a moment, but when you see it, it's like...WHOA.

It's like those funny pictures with dots where you have to look for a long time before you get the shape of it. I think the artist is going to make the definitition a bit clearer, but I think the overall effect is terrific; quite wild and sinister.

I think it will be clearer when the background is fainter. As a thumbnail it's completely obvious. Very interesting example of trompe l'oeil.

In the leaves? Just above your last name? Kind of tilted a bit? Ooo...that's kind of creepy, but in a good way.

WAIT! I just saw it! A BIG one. A composite thing. It just jumped out at me! Umm...ok...there are TWO faces in that cover....SO COOL! Edit: Now that I see the big one, I lost the little one.

In the nose of the big one. It's like a face of leaves. The eyes are almost like that of a lion. The nose is a flower and the mouth is the nostril of the big face. I can't believe I saw that one before the big one. >.< Edit: It's kinda like he'd be the unknown bad guy of the story. Some kind of horrific twisting of nature. His mouth is open in anguish and he eyes are fixed and stalking his prey. That's why I found it so creepy. Now that I see it inside the other face, it gives me a whole inner beast connotation.

Oh yes. If it's the one I think you mean, it IS a lion. Well, there are lions in the book. But the one I can see is looking quite calm and doesn't have its mouth open. Oh God, I can see it now! But MY lion is the top half of that one, but where the nostril of the big face is, is its neck and throat. I hope people will look at it and think "I want to buy that," and not "that makes my head hurt, won't look any more..." Mind you, the cover is probably more fun than the book...
