AuthorHouse and iUniverse merger
News lifted from an entry by Emily Veinglory at the EREC blog: iUniverse has been bought up by the same company that owns AuthorHouse. They are two of the largest subsidy publishers - i.e., authors pay money to publish books through them. Wall Street Journal article.

It looks like each imprint will be business as usual at least for a while.

Hmm. If they can't match Lulu's no pay up front to publish standard, I'm not all that interested.
