Best Publishers?

Best Publishers?
Who are the most well known and respected epublishers? I'm a big newbie and my view is sort of skewed. Ellora's Cave is at the top, I know, but who else?

Loose-Id, Samhain and Torquere are tops.

Freya's Bower has a great reputation, but I've never personally worked with them. Chippewa has been going through some technical problems, but I've been happy with how they'be treated me. I don't know where they're ranked in the popularity of erotic publishers though.

Our parent company, Mundania, has a great reputation and has won numerous EPPIEs and ARIANAs.

Our parent company, Mundania, has a great reputation and has won numerous EPPIEs and ARIANAs. I was about to say that judging from the number of writers from the Author's Hangout at Literotica who have/are working with Phaze, if I ever submit to an e-pub, it'd be high on my list. Bayou Bill 8)

Yep, Phaze is on my list of "want to get there" pubs.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the ladies at Freya's Bower and would recommend them to anyone. My dealings with Ellora's Cave have been extremely pleasant as well, nothing but lovely things to say about the professionalism and friendliness of the folks over there.

In no particular order for ones who have been around a while I say Loose ID, EC, Liquid Silver, Samhain , Linden Bay. For a very promising newcomer I recommend Total-e-bound. Yes I am biased as I've dealt with them all and had no major problems to speak of.

Thank you guys! This is a great help. I've finished one story and I'm almost done with another so I wanted to start getting my research going on who to submit them too.

While your list is, of course, blimish free, both the RWA and Brenda Hiatt compilations include Triskelion. My question is didn't Triskelion recently go belly-up? Bayou Bill 8)

Triskelion is very legs-in-the-air big-stink dead. Most lists have a bit of lag time and things move quickly in epublishing ;) IMHO Ellora's Cave still have a comfortable lead.
