BGE/BGR 2008- Richard Labonte
Anyone else sub to these and heard back yet? A couple of writers have posted on their journals that they got acceptances and both had subbed late. I subbed early :), as usual, and am hoping that my sub is just at the bottom of his pile. Any info appreciated!

Response rec'd today. Subbed March 2, alas, a "no thanks but sub more to me" yesterday, 8/17. This is one of the anthos where Richard does the initial vetting then sends his choices on to a judge. Manuel Xavier was the judge this year. Good luck to other submitters and let us know how you did!

Man, Manuel Xavier? Too darn cool! Hmmm ... I read about him judging somewhere a while back, I wonder if it's the same thing?

Couldn't work out where to post this, but one of my stories has been accepted for Best Gay Romance 2009. I've been trying for a couple of years to get something included, and now I've cracked it!

Warmest congrats to Jay! I got into Best Gay Erotica 2009, my first foray after several years of subbing to Richard. Missed the deadline for BGR but am planning on getting a story our for his Daddies antho. Should be interesting books all the way around.
