CreateSpace waives Pro set-up fee till end of July
CreateSpace, the self-publishers' interface for Amazon's POD printer, is waiving its Pro set-up fee through the end of August. The Pro program gets you higher earnings than its free plan; the only cost during this period for the Pro program is an annual $5 fee for each title. CreateSpace will distribute your books at Amazon's U.S. site, but nowhere else. If you're interested, be sure to read the fine print of the contract, so that you know what rights you're giving over. Among other things, you give Amazon the right to include your book in their Search preview program.
