Nononono don't tempt me like that, Ally. :D Serioulsy I have so much work on at the moment trying to finish things for deadlines that I need another project liike a large hole in the head. *grin* PLus I don't work well at speed. I DO know what you mean about the delightful freedom of fanfic, though - working entirely for yourself on something that doesn't *matter* is a breeze every now and again. ;)

ooookay... In Dreams DONE, finally, and subbed to FF :D The Burning Man in first edits Easy, for anyone who hasn't already heard me hollaring, accepted by Loose Id a couple or three weeks ago, contracts signed, waiting for the fun to begin! Willow Bend still in progress the NaNo novel has been shoved aside in favor of potentially paying projects. Of course, the whole point was to get me writing again when I was a bit blocked, and it worked, so that's fine. I'll probably still finish it, slowly, just for fun. And because I have several friends who are poking me to keep it up because they are Molko-whores like me :P and now I'm thinking of what I can write for all the many festivals Ruthie's has coming up in the next few months :roll:

sooooo, what's I'm up to now? gotta get my head straight... Willow Bend: working, working; slowly. Angsty bit getting in gear now 8) The Burning Man: final edits done, waiting to see if I get some line edits or not. Not long now until A Kiss At Midnight comes out, y'all! Woot! Easy: Cathy's working on edits now :) Don't know yet when it's gonna be out, it's too early to say. Brainstorming on what I might be able to co-write with Em. The big question being, of course, Can I Keep Up With Her! stay tuned... mulling over the next in the Matt and Chris series in my head. This is an important one, since the boys are going to get hitched (sort of), so I want it to be good. Still thinking about putting all their stories into a single-author anthology. That Voodoo: since I haven't ever heard anything from the Hustler's antho, I'm assuming they didn't want it and it's free. But I can't decide what to do with it. Am waffling between subbing to Ruthie's vs Fresh Off The Vine at the moment Oleander House: on the back burner. Again. It intimidates the f*** out of me, y'all.

YAY, I FINISHED WILLOW BEND!!! Just this afternoon!!! Woot! **happy dance** thinking about subbing it to Samhain, after a bit of betaing :) in other news: A Kiss at Midnight came out last month, as you're probably all aware :D first edits done on Easy, Cathy's working on second edits now. I'll let y'all know when I have a cover and/or release date. I think I'll bring Oleander House out of hiding and work on it next. It's all planned out, the first part and the almost-last part are written, I just need to fill in the (probably rather extensive) middle :roll: considering how to finish off the Firefly story: short story, or novel? Short story's the easy way out, but I have to admit that the idea of novelizing it intrigues me. I'd have to *gasp* invent a whole faery society! Eep. I saw the coolest bumper sticker EVER the other day, and I think it wants to be the seed of another novel. It was this weird stylized sort of octopus, blue on a white background, with evil slitty white comic book eyes. There was writing at the bottom but it was so tiny I couldn't read it (it was on the truck in front of me and I was driving), so of course I am consumed with curiosity now. I have a thing for cephalopods, you know. Lots of other ideas are floating around in my head, but they're too unformed to even write down at the moment, just random images and thoughts mostly.
