Thanks, Cup. This is CB's LJ: http://cbpotts.livejournal.com/ She's on my friends list. Here's Jolie's web page: http://joliedupre.com/iridescence.html Don't know for Sacchigreen, but she'll likely tell you herself. :-)

My partner writes f/f. Her market listing webpage is http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~wordchutney/Markets.htm

I guess two things, really. The first is some sign that there is a market for the kind of book that I could feel good about having written. I've read the submission guidelines from lots of epubs and some print pubs as well, and I find most all of them constraining. The second is finding enough confidence in myself (and maybe ability, I do a lot of reading about the craft of writing, and I do believe I am learning) that I can actually get down on the page what I see inside, when I work out a story. Here's a link list I posted down in the publishing forum. http://www.lorillake.com/glbt-publ-resources.html Many lesbian publishers there. So *crosses arms over chest and gives stern look* get to typing, the only way you'll prove to yourself that you can do it is if you DO it.

Hmm, that list has Cleis only publishing lesbian and Other, but looking on their site I see gay, trans, and presumably bi works, too. I think Cleis would be at or near the top of my list to submit to, but they don't seem to publish many novels, like 90% of their erotic fiction is anthologies.

I write as Sacchi Green, with occasional super-sekrit exceptions (when I'm, um, padding an anthology so I can pay my writers a little more). Two anthologies I've edited are out now, with another coming along shortly, and I have reams of short fiction in other people's anthologies. Off now to friend you back!

Other than waiting for confirmation on Sacchigreen's penname. Did I miss anyone? All my stuff is M/F and F/F Cupsy? just done the one TG piece you have seen. But I am unpublished so may not count? :(

But I am unpublished so may not count? :( Normally, I wouldn't say that unpublished doesn't count. But, when it comes to someone saying, "Who writes X so I can get it." Then...well...I can pass along your penname for future reference though. What penname will you be using/are using?

What about Philippa Thomas? any thoughts on male writers writing EroFict for women, should I be a woman or androgyne or would S.M.O.T.P. be a draw perhaps?

You need something you like, something that can work for you and that looks good enough on a catalog listing so that readers will take you personally. Then you have people like me who chuck all of that, go for something cute and then let the readers vote on the final choice. LOL!

Pardon my ignorance, but what's S.M.O.T.P.? Can somebody jog my memory, or take it for a stroll, or to the porch.... or to somebody's room??

Pardon my ignorance, but what's S.M.O.T.P.? Can somebody jog my memory, or take it for a stroll, or to the porch.... or to somebody's room?? I'm not sure if it stands for anything or not, but that was/is someone's forum name. However...if you WANT to be sent to my room, arrangements can be made.
