F/F and F/F/M
Someone contacted me on myspace looking for a F/F and F/F/M author. I KNOW we have a F/F author here, but I can't remember their name. >.< I want to make sure I give this person the right name. Can someone jog my memory for me, please? Or at least take it for a brisk walk? A stroll? A meander? To the porch?

I would be, if I ever got off my duff and wrote down the stories that I work out.

Jolie du Pre does f/f, though she hasn't posted here for a while.

I do small bits of ff mixed in with my mm stuff. Someday I'll do a primarily ff, because I want to see if I can.

I've got a good amount of F/f out there, with a full length f/f novel in the works.

I guess two things, really. The first is some sign that there is a market for the kind of book that I could feel good about having written. I've read the submission guidelines from lots of epubs and some print pubs as well, and I find most all of them constraining. The second is finding enough confidence in myself (and maybe ability, I do a lot of reading about the craft of writing, and I do believe I am learning) that I can actually get down on the page what I see inside, when I work out a story.

I don't know much at all about the F/F market. I wish I could help you. The confidence thing is kind of a catch-22. Successes build it, but you have to believe in yourself enough to try. Personally, I never feel as if a story is really done. Just the other day I saw a bit in Full Circle that I'd write differently now.

I've published a sunstantial amount of short f/f fiction, and edited three anthologies teeming (and steaming) with it, but no novels. There are a number of Yahoo groups where the f/f romance writers (and readers) hang out; the GCLS (Golden Crown Literary Society) and lesfic-unbound groups would be good starting places.

Be sure to lay down a trail of breadcrumbs before you go, and bring us back a few f/f fans-writers-et al :)

CB, do you have a myspace or a website you'd like for me to pass along to this person? Does anyone know if Jolie du Pre has a myspace or website? Nevermind, remembered she had a forum here and found it. KM, I've given her your myspace. Other than waiting for confirmation on Sacchigreen's penname. Did I miss anyone?
