Going To France
I'm off to my French house this evening. There's so much to do before we leave, and I'm in such a panic, that all I can do to calm me down is sit in front of the computer... Yes, I know, I know. I'll be away for nine days, so there will be blissful silence from this quarter. No internet connection in the house -- well, no phone, actually. And no television. But I will take a laptop and try to do some intensive writing. Wonderful!

We'll miss you, Lamia. I hope you get lots of writing done. It's just a tiny bit more glamorous than my little terrace in Cambridge! When I was away last week I tried to get here on a mobile phone with Bluetooth, and it would let me read, but it wouldn't let me post.
