Oh cool... you write for 7th window. :D I need to pick your brain about how much sex they like.Or, of course, you could just read my books... Seventh Window has published erotica collections in the past, but right now I think is focusing on romance. They now want you to email them for guidelines--info here My books don't have that much sex in them--just a scene or two, but I'd bet they're fairly flexible. I haven't ever been asked to add more or cut anything, so I'd say just write what's natural to your story and take it from there. But I have no idea what's in their guidelines--they didn't exist when I first submitted.
I subbed to the before and had sex in Chapter 2 (Nicky & Brandon) all the other elements were there, except that they didn't hate each other in the begining. They took the full, but then came back and asked if i was willing to re-write from chapter 3 so that they'd hate each other in the begining. Couldn't do that with that book (it would have been a completely different plot by the end -- it was a contemporary mystery on top of the romance and too many key plot points were worked into thier relationship) but I told them I'd try and write that book for them. I tend to write erotic. However, trying to force hate sex doesn't work well. If they're not that big into sex, it makes it easier on me. :DOh cool... you write for 7th window. :D I need to pick your brain about how much sex they like.Or, of course, you could just read my books... Seventh Window has published erotica collections in the past, but right now I think is focusing on romance.
