Inter-borg... That's such a cool name, but it's still a scary concept.

It was the law that created the idea of a corporation as a legal entity that set all this in motion, it was inevitable. Corporation's only morality is to shareholder profit. To gain in sales a company either has to produce more products, grow it's base of consumers, or enter new markets. The PC market ahs matured, for MS to keep growing they need to branch out into other areas. Providing internet service is a huge revenue stream. Unfortunately, when MS gobbles up enough market share, we can all look forward to our rates going up, to pay for the acquisition.

You should hear the jokes going around at work (yes, I work for THAT Evil Empire). My favorite so far was that it would be the Gates of Yahell.....
