Yes, JACK is permanently closed (the e-zine said so at the time it closed), and MAS-Zine is in indefinite limbo (as the editor herself has told me). Blithe House's Website, though, says it's open for submissions. Has news about it been posted elsewhere, malpath? As for Suspect Thoughts, I read its submission guidelines to mean (1) the press is open to queries only, and (2) the e-zine is currently closed to submissions. The e-zine closes to submissions periodicially; you have to keep your eye on the site for the narrow period when submissions are open.
