Man-Goo... OF DOOM!!
So the girl-child and I were having one of our usual sorts of fairly strange conversations. And we came to the conclusion that if you put the word "man" in front of a word, it makes it sound funny. And if you put the phrase "of doom!" (complete with exclamation point) after a word, it makes it sound even funnier. Combine them, and you have a veritable laugh riot. Thus the title of this thread, which my child came up with when I blew my nose and didn't really get until I turned purple laughing. so far I've laughed thusly at bananas, spaghetti, and tampons as well... help me...

A man-tampon of doom certainly sounds as if it ought to come in useful for something :twisted: "No, sausage!" always does it for me (has to be said very camply) I *knew* my 500th post would be something daft.

I was banned from saying 'of doom' due to over use. I also favour making things sound good by adding -tastic. e.g. 'a larger penis in only three days, Spam-tastic!'

Oh, I love that one! Best fortune ever, from a Chinese mega-buffet down the road: "Your talents will be recognized and suitably rewarded." With the necessary addition, I had to wonder if it meant talents I have in that particular arena, or that is how my talents will be rewarded? So far, neither has happened, darnit. I wanted the second interpretation, too.
