it just occured to me that i never really introduced myself formally. i just sort of horned my way in and started talking. that happens when someone's talking about stuff i enjoy talking about. like sex. food. horror movies. sex. food. oh, i said that already. persephone jones is my pen name. my real name while there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, sounds more like i should be wearing a black robe and banging a gavel in a courtroom somewhere. at least, that's what a former friend once said. i live in backward east texas where the rest of the world's progressive ideas are yet to be delivered and rain comes once in a blue moon or in a monsoon. great, now i'm rhyming. i'm a full time live in caregiver to my elderly grandparents. my husband is a computer geek looking for a really good job as opposed to just going somewhere someone told him to go for a few bucks and coins that keep his pocket lint company. i've yet to be published, ever the optimist and always with the humor. without it, i'd be designing this season's straightjackets for the county nut house.
