How many people here are taking part this year? Two months off! Plenty of time to rattle around some ideas.

I tried for 3 years, couldn't do it last year, and hope to do it again this year. Not that I came anywhere close to 50,000 words, but it was fun! :)

Not this time. I think I am at about 50% NaNo all year round these days :)

C'mon people! Only reason I didn't nano last year was because I was finishing off my novel AND getting married! I gotta have writing buddies! I agree with you tho Vein. Every months a nano month for me (well, erm ... when I'm actually writing well, that is ...). I'm thinking perhaps a torrid love affair in the grotty climes of a space mining setting. No, serious! Perhaps my first e-novel?

I'm in. If you remember, I did it twice last year, because of blowing up my laptop with sherry after setting fire to the house in France. This time, I'm going to back up after every page!

Ouch! What a way for a novel to go! Don't you have to upload it regularly to Nano tho? Send me your name on Nano so we can be buddies! Lieran you too! Am I correct in remembering that theres a shortage of erotica written in space?

I'm in... Once I finish these edits on the novella, I'll start tinking about it more. I need to write a short and a novel!

I found you lieren! I can't find you tho Lamia! I have to be honest, I got totally amped and then realized it's two months off, not one. But I guess foreplanning isn't a bad thing. I probably did about as much thinking for my novel, and I wasn't creating a setting as well for that one. Has anyone logged in lately? They have a very posh new profile system. PS, my username on there is MauiPotiki (of course!)
