Due to popular demand we have opened this member's only area relating to all genres other that erotica and romance. Currently you are welcome to start any kind of thread including discussions and workshopping. If there is demand we can provide separate areas for each. Until then--just make it clear what you are after in the thread :) If you would like to make an intro post letting people know what other genres you write, giving some links to examples etc, please add it as a reply here.

I write fantasy stories that are especially prone to focus on male friendship or male/female friendship. (Well, that's true of my gay stories too, but . . .) What else do I write ?
I know my presence on the boards has been sporadic at best. I would like to change that as well as become more involved in my writing. I also write; Fantasy novels that feature a woman as the main character, I tend to favor strong willed women who are unlikely heroines and bring them from almost downtrodden to being in complete control of themselves. There is ALWAYS a love interest or two. Poetry: Mostly love poetry, some about life, some erotic. I like to write erotic poetry when I need some good descriptive language and subtle nuances. It helps me have a better grip on the sensual. Children's Picture books, Young adult stories, and I'm just learning about how to write plays : Screenplays and stage plays. Sometimes I write scenes to help me to flesh out characters. I'm really glad you started this "other genres" forum. Thanks !! I don't have any links or websites.
