Publishers of short stories
I just realized that I posted the last post under this topic. Oh Well, Where can I find publishers that publish short stories? Thanks

LOL No worries. :) As for where, check the Markets & Con-*test*-('")s section. Also browse publishers' websites for lines, word count limits, etc. It also depends on the pairing(s) within the stories themselves. :)

Thanks In addition to the suggestions MB made, you might check out DUOTROPE http://www.duotrope.com/index.aspx As for the idea you mentioned in the other thread, I think it has possibilities. Of course, I thought the Mavs would win the NBA title this year, and last year too. So what do I know? 8)

Having said that, the market for short stories is declining a little at the moment. I'm finding it harder to find publishers willing to accept short stories for anything other than their own in-house anthologies. You could also try Erotica Readers and Writers Association ( http://www.erotica-readers.com/ERA/G/Call_For_Submissions.htm) - which lists markets for pretty much everything. :)

Short Storie Markets
May I suggest Ralan's Extravaganza, it has sci-fi, horror, erotica, and humor markets. Ralan is where I got my lead to my first horror storie publication. You might also try Brady Magazine.

I second Ralan. It's a great resource. You can also get monthly updates!
