The Shrine
Well, I think you'll agree that this is a lot better. All this lovely space! And doesn't the power station look good? It's just worship of Roger and Dave in here at the moment**, but feel free to import your own gods. As you can see, there is lots of room. **Although if you look on the far wall, I have added a mini-shrine for the adoration of shoes. Please take it seriously and treat it with respect. Please use this mini-shrine *only* if you have a *real* and deeply felt shoe fetish. Do not abuse its sanctity just because you have got a new pair of boring trainers and you think they are quite nice. This area is for the expression of real love, and for serious prayers before shopping expeditions. "Please glorious shoe gods send me the slingback kitten heels of my dreams in silver faux reptile." That sort of thing. For the rest of this week, I will be adoring my purple suede stilettoes with the pleated fronts and little bows. Feel free to join in. A few minor points: I don't know about the flammability of helium yet, and in any case large fires can easily get out of control, so please, no sacrificial fires. Candles should be OK if used with care, but keep them well away from the pigs. Please clear up properly after any sacrifices, and leave the shrine as you find it. Do NOT make any sacrifices involving liquids near my shoe area. Anyone splashing wine, blood, or any other bodily fluids on the shoes will be banned for life. Think that's it, for now. Enjoy the shrine. (Thinks) I wonder if I can worship Jeremy Clarkson in here? Hmmm. No, probably not. Probably freak them all out. Perhaps in one of the antechambers. Behind a curtain. Can get a bit messy.

You can have one, but you can't keep him in there all the time. They have to be together *sometimes* for obvious reasons For those confused, this shrine was first establised in Jolie's alternative music thread, but was moved here this afternoon after an accident with a three-storey penguin caused by lack of space. Hope that makes everything clear.

Oh dear! Sorry to keep you out there so long. You'd better have a key of your own. What lovely penguins. Who are they for? Are you starting your own shrine in here, or are they just to add a bit of extra majesty to the power station? You know Tav, I think I'd better not lock Jeremy up. I think I'll just stick to the worship. I'm sure he's got an awful lot of influence with the driving gods, and I need all the help I can get. You can lock the hamster up, that's fine.

I decided helium was too dangerous and so my own personal penguin gods had to be done in gold... They don't really need a shrine though. They make pretty good hatracks. I'll put them here by the door. And I brought eggnog. I don't know what it's been like for you but I'm freezing (wamrs hands sacrilegiously over candles)

Ooops, one of the penguins has just drunk the eggnog. yeah, I think I'd better keep RH under lock and key, if only to keep Jeremy's sticky paws off him. I've never seen a penguin with hiccups before...

What, these aren't gold penguins, the are just penguins painted gold. No wonder they were marked down.
