Ug Okay. What do you do when you want to kill your characters and blow up their world?
(Loading my Uzi now...)

Duck and cover from the flames readers will toss your way.
I'm guirding myself seeing as I kill off the love interest for the past two books in book 3.

Yikes.
I have reluctantly put the project on the back burner YET AGAIN.
The upside? I'm plotting the next book and everything's going well...
so far.

You can't think about the next until you've done the current! That's cheating! You just have to knuckle down and do the hard yards! Erm ... realise that's probably the last piece of advice you want to hear though.

I know... :(
This thing is killing me!
I just need to write it, but right now I'm not crazy about this plot.

There are two things I do in situations like this. Force myself, or let my inner editors talk me entirely out of the process. Usually I sit and force myself to keep writing. If Im writing every day, its ok. If I hit a weekend, then it gets harder.

I'm gonna force myself I think. I just don't feel 100% about this tale. But, who knows, maybe somebody somewhere (publisher) will like it!

Not every novel has to be an award winner first time around! BTW, these are all the things my internal editors tell me when they ain't trying to convince me of other stuff. So this advice has nothing to do with me hehe.
