[WANTED] Market for flippant fairytale I'm looking for a possible home for The Lizard King which was published in the last Forbidden Fruit.
It's about 1600 words long and very tongue-in-cheek - a modern and fun take on the old 'frog princess' fairy tale. It's not graphic but does contain references to sex.
Trouble is, because it's already been in Ff a lot of markets won't touch it....

I can never remember which markets allow reprints. I should make a list of them for future reference
I will have a think about it. 'Best of collections' would be an obvious option? And good publicity for FF if it got in?

Nice idea although i'm not sure it's long, good or serious enough for most of them....

re Flippant Fairy Tale I too have a pre-published flippant fairy tale. It is an 8000 word tongue in cheek, very explicit, heterosexual parody. It was published by Ruthie's Club. It's told in such a tongue-in-cheek voice that the e-pubs don't want it. At least not e-RebSage or Drollerie Press.
